Happy Fourth of July: Top Google Trends On Independence Day
Believe it or not, it’s not all about where to watch the best 4th of July fireworks show during a heatwave while avoiding the delta variant.

I like to have breakfast while checking Google trends. It’s a habit I picked up during my Army days, and it has by now settled as one of my geeky morning routines.
Usually, I wouldn’t write about this morning habit; however, today is Independence Day; hence I decided to share my 4th of July findings with you, dear reader.
1. Independence Day
Not even COVID can break the American way or trample the 4th of July celebration spirit. Hence, today, like in any given year, “Independence Day” rules the trends with 1M+ searches so far. “Parades” lead the trends, as I’ve got the “Farmington parade return” and the “Omaha Field Club parade” ranking high on my trending searches report.
2. Rise of the Moors
Afterward, the Boston press takes silver with the “Rise of The Moors. Following the Interstate 95 standoff between a group of heavily armed individuals and Massachusetts State Police on Saturday, July 3. According to the group’s website, Rise of the Moors is an active anti-government sovereign-citizen group based in Pawtucket, R.I.
3. Fourth of July
This one will scale up the chart and be trending high as people’s interest in upcoming events and celebrations rises throughout the day. Last year, many 4th of July events were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after the mass vaccination, health authorities seem more condescending to festivities returning across the country.
4. Roger Federer
Then we have a crowd-favorite type of search, as sports take over the chart with “Roger Federer” finding pace at Wimbledon as he chases his last Grand Slam title before turning 40.
The charismatic tennis star player moved on to the tournament’s second week after a victory over Cameron Norrie on Saturday.
